Dumpsters are built with a fill line at the top rail, and our drivers cannot legally haul a load that rises above it or sits stacked higher than the walls, since loose debris can fall off the truck on the road. If a container arrives overfilled, the driver will ask you to remove material down to the fill line before pickup, or we can swap in an additional container for the overflow. To avoid delays on pickup day, load heavier items first, break down bulky pieces, and stop filling once you reach the top edge of the walls rather than mounding material in the middle.

Level-loading means keeping debris flat and below the top rail of the dumpster rather than piling it into a peak in the center. It exists because Illinois DOT and local traffic law require covered, secured loads on the road, and a container loaded higher than its walls cannot be tarped or hauled safely. Our roll-off trucks need roughly 60 feet of straight approach to back into position, about 13 feet of overhead clearance for wires and tree limbs, and a driveway or placement area wide enough for the container plus a few feet of working room on each side. Illinois law bans several categories from landfill disposal, and our dumpsters cannot accept them: televisions, computer monitors, and computers are banned under Illinois's electronics recycling law (Illinois EPA electronics recycling); appliances containing refrigerant (refrigerators, freezers, AC units) require certified refrigerant removal before disposal; and tires, vehicle and household batteries, paint, and chemicals are all restricted or banned outright. Small amounts mixed in with a larger cleanout are usually fine, but under Illinois's landscape waste law (415 ILCS 5/22.22), grass clippings, leaves, brush, and other landscape waste generally cannot be landfilled once knowingly mixed with regular municipal waste, and landfills are restricted from accepting it that way. No. Asbestos is a regulated hazardous material in Illinois, and removal or disturbance of asbestos-containing material, common in older Naperville-area homes in floor tile, pipe insulation, and popcorn ceilings, must be handled by a contractor licensed through the Illinois Department of Public Health.
